The year 2020 really started nicely for us at the Museum: on January 16, the Mathematical Gymnasium visited us! The initiator of this large group visit is the professor of Serbian language and literature, Mrs. Jasmina Ognjenović, who together with the assistant director of the Mathematical Gymnasium, Mrs. Jasmina Stošić, brought a group of about 25 high school graduates. With the expert guidance of our curator, Barbara Panić, the graduates spent an hour and a half in a permanent exhibition, getting to know the history and culture of the Jewish population in Serbia and the entire former Yugoslavia. What impression our Museum left on these dear and important visitors is best shown by the joint comment of students and Mrs. Stošić written in the book of impressions: “… Thanks to the kindness of the Museum Director Vojislava Radovanović and curator Barbara Panić, we had the opportunity to find allow them to fade from our memories. We visited an extremely interesting exhibition … “ We certainly want the organization of such visits to become a “habit” for the Mathematical Gymnasium, and we have no doubt that the enterprising and creative professor Jasmina Ognjenović will take care of that.
